Get a BassProShops or Cabela's catalog...they both have actual size hook and swivel charts. You can request a catalog on-line..they are free.

You can't really compare from looking at them on a screen since the scale won't be the same. Your best bet is to buy yourself a selection of hooks and swivels. You will invariably need different sizes for different types of fish or style of fishing.
There are also many different patterns of hook - wide/narrow gape, long/short shank, beak,straight point, up/down/straight eye. There are hundreds of combinations. Your local tackle shop will always be happy to help out beginners, pay them a visit. Happy fishing.
