Cover Scents (Homemade?)?
Anyone know how to make your own cover scents (Acorn, Pine, or ?)

What is the best long range semi-auto rifle? I have an M1A1 is there better?
The best way to make your own cover scents is to go to the area you are hunting and gather some sticks, acorns, pine needles, leaves ,etc., and put them in and old pot with some water and bring them to a boil . reduce the heat and let them simmer for about 5-10 minutes. After it cools use a strainer to get rid of the chunks and put it in a container and you are ready to go. I have used this method before becuase not only is it cheaper than store bought cover scents, but also it matches your surroundings perfectly. Not to mention it is cool to make things with your own hands. One last word of warning if you are married, be careful boiling the mixture in the kitchen as your wife might not like the "woodsy" smell LOL.!I have a marline rifle model 336-R 32 special cal. seriel # L5704 and can't find any info on it?
Hey that was a good answer mitch. I plan on using it myself. Thanks.Does anyone know if there is a .220 to .223 diameter large pistol primer?
cedar or spruce ground upWho has a proto matrix for sale?
That depends on what kind of scent you want, you can cut an apple in half and then rub it on your clothes,or if you are hunting in pine Forrest, gather some fresh boughs, breakup an put your hunting clothes in a plastic bag with them,if you hunt in hard woods do the same with leaves and small sticks, its a lot easier than boiling a pot of pine brew or acorn tea ,you can also try using the tarsal glands or urine sack from a fresh killed buck,be warned, that can be pretty funky smelling and may be dangerous if another buck smells it then wants to fight,More Questions & Answers...
