AIRSOFT GUNS - what do u recommend?
ok so im looking to get an AEG airsoft gun but i dont want to spend over $70...this is my first AEG and i dont play that often so i dont want it expensive and it doesnt have to be the best one out there..im looking for something around 330 fps with 200+ round magazine, battery, and charger inculded.also, is it bad if i buy a gun with a plastic gear box instead of a metal gearbox? so let me kno of any good guns or websites that provide guns that are similar to what im looking for....also if a gun shoots 410 fps for .12 bbs, what does it shoot for .20 bbs? any info u have would be great.thanx

Well I will do the best to answer your question. If you get a plastic gearbox, the gun will not last. It will wear down and break, or just lower in fps until it reaches 50. If you get a cheap plastic gearbox AEG, the gun will stay at its original fps for about 3 yers and then it will wear down seriously. If you don't play that often, and it is your first AEG, than a cheap plastic gearbox airsoft gun would be okay for you. If you want a plastic gear box gun that shoots 330 fps, good luck finding one. If you are a beginner, just get one that shoots around 250 fps. For yuor second gun, after you are expirienced, buy a metal gear box gun. www.hobbytron.com is a realy good web site for beginner AEG and mid-grade AEGs. Oh yah if a gun shoots 410fps with .12s it should shoot about 380 w/ .20 depending if they are heavy grade or not. Hope that helps.The Well R6 is an excellent Metal gearbox airsoft gun that runs about 100.00 It is a "clone" of a Tokyo Marui M-4.
Plastic gearbox guns are basically toys that don't last long or shoot hard. Well R6 guns are sometimes found on sale for little more than 70$, so you might run Well R6 airsoft as a search topic and shop around and find one.
