The serial number on the gun is 139618.

Anyone ever run, and random people yell, or honk their horns at you.?

Dont put your serial number out there. And don't listen to DJ, putting xxx over three numbers ain't gonna help much. 139618 or 139xxx ain't gonna make much difference. 3 numbers don't have that many different combinations.

Try gunbroker.com or auctionarms.com. I bet someone there can hook you up.

First off, go edit your question putting xxx over the last few digits of the serial number. It's not a good practice to publish your firearm's serial numbers on the net.

It's possibly a "AyA" brand..stands for "Aguirre y Aranzabal" and are fine quality shotguns from Spain.

I just looked at your previous answer and it has a lot of info, just not any that you probanbly understand.

OK.first you need to look all over the gun for "Model" or even "Modelo" that will be a start. Looks like there were several models of the Matador.

Also, find the caliber or gague (abbreviated "ga.") this info is likely to be stamped into the metal somewhere.

The best way to get a real sense of the history and value is to take a few photos of the whole gun and closeups of the action part, then post those on a shotgun collectors board, like..

Or how about this even ! Dont worry about your sn#, and feel free to post all the sn#'s you want. Nothing can happen at all from having those numbers.

Edit your post and add the info you fnd on the gun. Its very general to go from where you are now, so with a model number and a brand which will be on the gun. Look on the top of the barrel, left side of barrel or on the reciever. With this info I can give you exactly what the guns value is. Finding the History of the gun is a lost cause. It requires tons of paperwork and a deep pocket with the BATF, and thats if everyone who owned the gun transfered it legally and not just freind to friend.

The model will be one of 3:

(Matador) no numbers, value $550.00 @ 100% condition - $200.00 @ 60% condition

(Matador No.2) Value $675.00 @ 100% condition - $200.00 @ 60% condition

(Matador No.3A) Value $795.00 @ 100% condition - $335.00 @ 60% condition
