Is it true you can make a ruger 10/22 full auto by shaving down the firering pin and thats it?
how can i do this
Answers:
Filing down the firing pin will only make the firing pin short, meaning it likely won't fire at all.
If you're interested in learning how to convert a Ruger 10/22 into a fully automatic, select-fire rifle, you can order this book:

Please keep in mind that actually attempting to modify your gun in this manner is a violation of Federal Law, and is punishable by hefty fines and long prison sentences.

Totally true, my friend.No. You could fire or wear down the sear and have it go full auto on occasion, but it's not consistent or safe, it's not legal, and most of all it's a really bad idea. It'll basically ruin the rifle for you until you can get the sear replaced, which you'll definitely want to do after about a day of the novelty, and the cost of repair will be almost the cost of a new rifle.
What are you a moron, its idiots like you that make people want to ban semi automatic firearms! Go turn yourself in now so you aren't wasting taxpayers money.
No it doesn't. For legal reasons I am not going to name the parts you would have to modify but yes books are available on the issue.
Second if you want to know for any reason other than academic purposes (just to know how), making this conversion would create a full auto rifle that cannot be legally registered to a civilian individual. Getting cought with it would give you a pretty steep punishment.
Full-auto is kinda worthless anyway (but yes its fun) - you really won't be able to hit much and you will be constantly reloading your magazine. Plus the whole legal part of it also puts a dampner on things. Another idea would be to buy whats called the TAC-Trigger. All it really does is give you a second trigger in front of your finger and allows you to shoot faster. I bought one at a gun show several years ago for my 10/22. They apply to almost all semi-auto rifles like AKs, ARs, 10/22.whatever. I put mine on and could empty the standard ten round magazine in about two seconds. Yeah it was fun, but all the reloading gets old fast. I also had a 50-round magazine for the rifle. OK - you can shoot more ammo, but I hated loading that magazine. Its a cheap and LEGAL way to have more fun with your 1022 - but it allows you to shoot normally with no interferance.Consider that before you take a file to a nice rifle.
NO its not true and not a wise decision to contemplate modifying it...
No, but if you lube it with lots, and lots of honey it will.
