yes!!! clean immediately after use. clean it thoroughly too. if i was you, i would spend a little extra money to get non corrosive ammo. dont know what kind of gun you are talking about, so i cant recomend any types of ammo. even if using non corrosive ammo, still clean gun after each use. it will extend guns life.
