I have taken my "Bones Red" Roller blade bearings apart to clean them, but I can't put them together...

Go to your local sporting goods store (Dick's, Cabella's, Gander Mtn, Etc) and try a few out. Make up you own mind what's best for you. They will be happy to show a boatload of different bows.

Bud makes a lot of sense.
Picking a bow is like picking out underwear, really. you buy what fits right.
Start with size in length. you want a bow that stops between belt and knee when you are holding it in the center with your arm straight out in front of you. The closer to the belt, the better.
When you stand holding the bow at your side, relaxed with the bow tucked under your arm. The string should stop shy of the elbow not past the elbow. If your gripping the bow in one hand and the string passes the elbow of the arm holding it, it will have a loose draw.
Drawing the bow to test fit is really rather easy. you want the for finger of the hand you pull the string with to tuck in beside your cheek. plant that first knuckle right at the edge of your lips. that is your draw length. If you can pull it without a problem or grunting and jerking to get it back. That is your pull weight limit. if you can hold the string at full draw to a count of ten without having to release the string and saying ouch a lot, but have some pull against you that makes you want to let go at the count of 8, you have reached your max.
Buy the one that is most comfortable then practice practice practice.

What kind of fish are there in south padre?

the biggest thing is finding one that you can shoot and draw comfortably. You dont have to spend 500-600 to get a nice bow. I would go to a smaller mom and pop type sporting goods store instead of gander mountain or a cabela type store. The smaller stores will allow you to shoot several bows and will be more helpful in setting up your bow. Dont listen to everyone that says you need a ton of speed on your bow. Usually the faster they are the less forgiving they are to shoot. you will want a bow with at least a 7" brace height. Thats the distance between your arrow rest and the string. The bigger the distance the more forgiving the bow is going to be to small movements when your shooting.
if you can find a bow that shoots over 290 ibo feet per second you will just find. I shoot a darton maverick. I love it. when i draw it its like pulling a hot knife thru butter. It is very forgiving. They have been out for a few years now and you can even find use ones. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
