Lakes within 120 miles of sacramento ca?
Im looking to take my son to a lake that someone at my work told me about now i cant remember the name of it. He told me that they stock this lake and that you can catch good sized bass there. He also told me that there is a store there and it is like 20 something dollars to get in. If anyone has any ideas of what LAKE he is talking about please let me know. Thanks, Dee.

Home defense shotgun for seniors?
It Sounds like Hagemann Ranch Trout Farm in Bodega Bay, on HWY 1 phone # is: 707-876-3217. Its about 45 mins. to 1 hour from Sacramento. The lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout. You don't need a fishing license or tackle (but you can bring tackle if you want). It cost 4.00$ for each pole rental. 4.00$ for bait (or you can bring your own). Then you pay for what ever fish you catch (on average about 5.00$ a fish). They clean them for you and put them in a bag of ice. When you leave they are ready to cook. Its almost guaranteed that you will catch some fish. For less than the price you would have to spend for a fishing license.

Sound like a lot of places, but most places don't charge to fish. It could be a private place. Ranco Seco lake?
You might want to try Lake Camanchee near Burson,CA (about 45min drive from Sac.) You can also try Lake Berryesa for Wild Bass( about 1.5 hrs from Sac). I used to go there for bass fishing a few years ago. The bass there hit pretty good with the right bait. We were just using those salty rubber worms fishing from a small boat in and out of the shady area on the water where small trees are sticking up out of the water. Good Luck
Hey, I went fishing today and kept catching these Gars. Anyone know the history of this Fish?
