When I lived in the bowels of Alaska, you couldn't do fireworks in the summer because we had almost 24 hours of sunlight...but in the winter...especially on New Years Eve we went mad for fireworks.
So one year I had a New Years Eve party at my house and there was like 50 or so people at the soiree, and we were pretty much all lit by around 1 am...and wouldn't ya know it? The damn snow-mobilers decided..."Hey its New Years...let's ride our loud snow mobiles right through this guys front yard."
Timing is, of course everything, and there was about 10 of us outside on my deck (in minus 30 below temperatures, I might add) and we were shooting off some really cool tube type bottle rockets, ya know, those kind that are like motar's when you have the big ball of explosives in the bottom and they shoot out a tube?
Well anyhoo, we decided to actually hold those tubes in our hands and lay in wait for the snow mobilers to pass in front of the house. The drunken timing required was pretty intense, because we had to light the fuses just at the right moment in order to achieve a direct hit.
We heard them coming around the corner, our fuses were lit, and we trained our hand-held mortars on the unaware snow mobilers...when BAM...4 of the motars were loosed and went sailing right for 'em! 2 over shot and exploded in the road (which was still awesome), 1 swirled off into the sky and popped a 100 feet above their heads...but the last one burst at least 10 feet above their heads in a shower of purple and white phosphorus! It was glorious!! The 4 snow-mobilers were scared out of their minds, fell off their machines into the snow and basically started screaming at us!
10 minutes of intense negotiations and the plying of liquor turned them into my new best friends for the night and they ended up taking the party guests for rides and hung out for the rest of that night.
No but it is a good way to get ur *** beat.

Yeah. I remember when i was like 10 or 11 i took a hose pulled it up into a tree on my property that hung over the road and i would spray people and hide behind the biggest branches. Seeing how i lived at the entrance to the park that helped because their were lots of people coming in and out. Come to think of it i never got caught either...Sweet!Ahhh Fun times :P :P :P :P
