We're going on holiday to Benodet in Brittany. Does anyone know if it's worth packing fishing gear?

If your after carp then yes, as there are 100s of lakes in brittany, (as im a bit of a carp nut) also if you cant fit your stuff in, if u want to sea fish, there are some places where you can hire sea rods or even go out on a boat, but yeah, if i was you i would take fishing stuff(mind you i take it everywhere with me LOL) there are plenty of places to fish in brittany so do take some. also make sure you find out where you get fishing liscences from as you can get nicked if you dont have one.
