Now, I assume you are a amateur airsofter just wanting to play around with your friends. but if you are serious, I'd advise just saving up a and buying yourself a legitimate gun. Serious airsofters would frown upon the previous answers including a echo type gun. They are rising in reputation, but all in all they are basically Chinese knock offs and there are VERY mixed reviews. I'd go with a Tokyo Marui otherwise known as TM. or a NEW Classic Army otherwise known as CA. Now, if you are very serious about it and have the cash... go with TM, and upgrade the hell out of it and it will last you for a good 20,000 rounds which if you are not trigger happy will last you for years. Now if you want to not spend 100s of dollars like most airsofters... go with CA... remember the new versions. The new versions are all metal and will last a long time. DO NOT GET AN OLD ONE, they are known to have very bad quality inside the gearboxes.If you want to get a sniper, go with a TM Gas rifle... or a TM M14, or some type of M4 variant made from CA and just add a m120 which will bump it up to (400-420 FPS) and just attach a bipod and scope.. and you will own, unless you are playing with VERY serious airsofters. Remember, don't play in illegal places... not a good idea!
