How do you butcher deer?

Well..kinda of a...no..not kind of..a VERY vague question.
Anyway..I guess I have to guess your asking about 22 v/s 9mm for personal protection. Neither makes a good choice.
I have been carrying for 35 years and have never been failed by my Colt Officers Model. One in the pipe 7 in the tube and 21 more strapped to my belt. If you need more firepower than that then you woke up in Iraq one morning, your back-up team sucks or you just really need to find a new nieghborhood.

Seriously..a 22?? You might as well throw a brick and just pis someone off. You oftern read anti-gunners citing situations where legally gun carrying people were disarmmed and were wounded or killed by their own guns..well..their you have it. 22. cal pistols and revovler accounted for 68 percent of those situations. In short..the guns didn't have the ooomph to do the jub and the law bideing citizen trying to protect his *** was overpowered.

The Colt 45. 1911a Colt and it's many incarnations is one of the safest, most reliable, easy to use and accurate guns availlble. It's also..in the litigious world one of the most defendable weapons you can carry. What I mean by that is..after any shooting and arrest is made of the shooter. They are usually charged with discharging a firearm and some other equally as innoucous charge just to get them from the crime scene and out of harms way. At a later review at some point they're going to look at the person and the gan and the "team" they make up. So..we have a 32 year old house wife whose been shootin for 6 years, 3 in competition. The past 2 years she took and interest in monday night pin gun shoots (shooting at bowling pins) and noticed the 45 auto seens the be the biggie, So...she got one...looked it and shortly after decided this might be a better personal perotection handgun over the Bersa 380 she was carrying. A few friends conccured. So..she went out and bought here a Les Baer custon 45. She ten contacted local law enforement in here area and told them she's be toting a 45 auto for PP, would they recomend a round. The said sure. Carry Two less that lethel; one in the pipe and one as the top round on the clip. Maybe a flashbag first and a rubber bullet second. The rest should be about 168gr SJHP. You've dome your best to avoid taking a life...within reason and hopfully a jury will see it too. This might seem like a lot of thinking to go into it. Truct me..beeb there done that and came out ok obth times. Good luck.

OK...now, GOD FORBID...you get into a jam,,you;ve done it with training behind you, professionally recomended ammo and weaspons and the support of a core group of stand-up citizens. A gun involved crim is never a slam, bam shoot gain man! It's usually a drawn out load of horseshit...but if you feather your nest...take these steps..you can spend more time in the field enjoying your sport than sitting in a courtroom wondering with the *!! is next.

For taget shooting and varmint hunting 22. For actual self defense 9mm sucks, go for a 40S&W or 45ACP.

What kind of camping furniture should I have in my tent??

depends on what your gonna do with it. if ya want a 22 because it looks cute you better not conceal carry. if ya god forbid ever have to use the person you shot is now just pissed off and you be lucky if he didn't take the gun from you and beat ya over the head with it lol. a 9mm would do just fine for the range, conceal carry or even on the job.

How is the fishing around Yosemite? Going in October...?

.22 is great for target practice \ plinking. The ammo is cheap, so you can shoot all day long. Not a huge fan of the 9mm.

Im on a track team and cross country team ..?

The .22 as in .22 Winchester Magnum is the best personal defense handgun cartridge made. In killing anything, bullet placement is the first concern. If you can hit where you are aiming then the round is going to be effective. The .22 Mag is a very accurate round and one shot will put any assailant down for good.
For get what one idiot said about using a rubber bullet , The last thing you want to do is piss off someone that is trying to kill you. You must use deadly force when confronted with a life and death situation. Aim for the nose and continue to fire until the assailant is down and not moving.
I carry a Grendel , .22 Magnum with 31 shot capacity and it is light and accurate. A handgun that is as big and awkward as the .45 Colt Auto just can not be carried comfortably.

Does anybody know where i can get a legal AK-47 that is Yugo or Russian, and has all wooden parts?

I like the .22 ammo is cheap and it's fun to plink w/. A good Ruger 10/22 will last you a very long time with proper maint. For pistols I have an HP22 Phoenix Arms a good cheapie I can hit a T-post @ 80 yds. consistently but I wanna get a Ruger MkII I dunno something about Ruger I don't like the man (God rest his soul) but his guns are beyond par.

Do you use wienies or bread, or what, to catch catfish?

Kinda a loaded question excuse the pun but I'm a big fan of both BUT mainly for target practice or small animal hunting. Both are cheap to shot , and shoot well out of a quality gun. Both have very manageable recoil which is ideal for teaching beginning shooters the basics with out scaring them of hurting them. I personally have 3 ruger 22lr pistols each one different 1 mark II standard, 1 mark II slabsided target model and 1 mark III hunter. I have 3 rifles two ruger 10/22 and my most recent find a Remington model 12-a pump 22lr . But to honestly answer your question we need to know what you want it for. If its self defense I'd say start with a 9mm if you like but I only trust 40cal or above. If your looking for a small package in a handgun try a Glock 27 (40cal) I love mine, shoots great conceals well and is a dream to take down and clean. Keep in mind a one shoot stop is basically a myth until you get in to big bore long rifles , the human body (animals for that matter) are very resilient even when shoot and can carry on for quite a while. Just ask some deer hunter how far they have tracked deer after even a good shot.

What is the best way to keep liver on your catfish hooks, besides pantyhose?

the only thing a .22 is good for is plinking targets or cans.
