Is the Spyder MR1a really powerful, accurate and overall good gun. If not what is a good gun under 150$?

The question need a little more information to really answer it truthfully. What type of paintball do you plan on using the marker for? If you're looking at woodsball, the MR1 is an OK entry level marker, but I would really trust a Tippmann 98 over it.If you are looking for a marker for speedball, or something in between, you are going to want to look for an electronic trigger framed marker, maybe a Spyder Imagine, or a WGP Trilogy in something close to that price range but a little more for the Trilogy.
Markers are all the same in "power" as fields have a set velocity limit(usually under 300fps), and for the most part, accuracy of any stock marker isn't great. If you are worried about accuracy, you are going to want to invest in a barrel kit to get a better paint to barrel match for better accuracy. Also look for better quality paintballs, remember, if it says Brass Eagle it's crap!
