Beachfront camping in New England?

I want to go beach-camping in New England in the month of June. I prefer if the place is undevealoped, and semi-primitive (bathrooms and showerhouses only). I would love if the place was a state park, but it doesn't necessarily have to be, But I want to stay right on or just off the beach. Also, I don't want to pay an arm and a leg (I would prefer if it were free or less than $10 a night) to stay. I have been to other beach state parks where all this was possible, but I haven't been able to find anything I'm looking for on any states' traveler's bureau websites. Do you know of someplace similar to what I'm looking for?

SInce noone has answered I will try to help you out. There are some sites, I think, in CT around the New London area.

I dropped a couple of links below for you to some coastal sites in CT. I dunno how well they fit your criteria for a primitive site, but they are on the beach. Hammonasset and Rocky Neck are the SP's.
