Fishing with real bait or fake bait which one is better?

also want to know is there a difference between live bait and dead bait, and how to you catch big fish in salt water?

Answers:

I was wondering?

I have had luck with both kinds of bait. If the fish are biting (always depends on what kind of fish you are going after) live, dead, or artificial bait works. When the fishing is slow (on a hot Sunday afternoon) I try artificial bait.

Cocking a pistol?

To start with--Fresh water fishing depends
on what you are fishing for. Large mouth
bass seem to go for artificial bait more than
dead or live bait. Plastic worms and plugs
etc. seem to work pretty well.
Pan fish such as crappie, bream, catfish,
sunperch seem to like dead or live bait.
Now then, salt water fishing is not much
different depending on what you want to
fish for. Trolling for king mackerel, usually
require dead squid. Fishing for king mackerel
from the pier usually take live blue fish for
bait. Fishing for flounder will take live minnows
as the best bet. Croaker, whiting and other
smaller fish from the pier will usually require
shrimp or meal worms or blood worms.
That's enough for now . Go fishing.

What is the value of a model 242c over and under 410 shotgun?

Well to me the difference is when using live bait, something
to small to keep legally, or something not targeted, you do stand the chance of killing the fish if it swallows the hook. Using artificials you usually get
hook ups in the lip areas and the chance is smaller for fish damage.

I want to build an elevated box deer stand, any sites on the web with free plans to do so?

well... In my own experience, I've outfished tons of people, who were using live bait, with my Artificial Baits. Now thats my thing. I'm good, and feel comfortable with them. For a starter fisherman live bait is a good choice, because it takes less skill and experience to use them. It lets beginners see how the fish react to certain situations. In my opinion, a person can catch many more and bigger fish if they are skilled with artificial baits. They take much practice to learn , which, when, where and how to use them. But sometimes, in certain situations, live bait can be better, which also takes experience to recognize when this is true. You just need to fish, fish, and fish some more, with live and artificial baits. Practice makes perfect is true to fishing! Good luck!

As to your other questions, live bait moves, dead bait dont! some fish will bite dead bait, some fish wont, but when given a choice live is better! I'm not too much of a saltwater fisher, so I dont care to explain about salt water fishing.
