Sounds like gear damage. Does it actually fire or just make a lot of noise?Chances are your gearbox is knackered. Broken gears can be repaired if you know what you're doing, but you have to consider the cost of it versus the cost of the gun.
If it's a high end gun, have it repaired, if it's a cheap clone, bin it and get another...

Try lubing your entire gun. Lube is only about 5-10$. lube your barrell and trigger. This is the only thing you can do to fix your gun other than buy a new one.Nick

There should be a little tinyscrew at the bottom of the handle.
get an allen wrench the right sighs,
and tighten it or loosen it until the
sound goes away. The sound is the
gears grinding together, and the screw
keeps them in place. if there is a hole but
no screw, the screw mite have fallen out
and you will have to get another one.
P.S what kind of gun is it?
