I have no wish to do so,but arguing in the pub the other night my nephue said it would not be that hard,what with Sherpas and fixed ropes with a little training he could do it.Is he right.?

It just depends on what kind of shape your in and your determination. That altitude really tests your endurance and puts a toll on your body. See a doctor before you even think about going and make sure you have the $.
