When is the best time of year to fish for big game fish off the east coast of Florida?
I'm looking to take my cousin from Indiana deep-sea fishing, and we're trying to figure out when would be the best time of year for him to come down. Also, since I live in Orlando and am working close to West Palm Beach, what part of Florida usually "nets" the best results?

Dont know the east coast but for my money Bradenton is it look for Miss Cortes [thats the name of the boat] .While it really depends on what you are fishing for, for offshore I would say spring time. As the waters start to warm, as with most fish, activity starts to pick up. More bait fish start appearing and that can trigger a surge in activity among the sport fish. Kingfish start to increase their bite around this time and leading into summer the fishing is going to get good for a lot of species. The best advice is to keep your eyes on the florida fishing reports ( http://www.centralfloridafishingreport.c... ) for the region you are interested in.
