Fall turkey hunting?
This past spring I turkey hunted for the first time and I am hooked. I am going to try doing it this fall too, but from what I heard it is quite a bit different. I was wondering if anybody knows of any good videos that give instructions on a lot of the calls that will be of more use in the fall. I don't really know any besides just basic ones that were sufficient in the spring, but I want to learn locator calls and kee kee calls and the like. I appreciate any help.

Do any of your friends hunt? If they do, have trurns driving the turkeys and shooting them. They bring them in great numbers, and you are bound to get one. We've been doing this for the past 7 years. The drive that it!
locate the turkeys the same way you do in the spring by scouting. I like an owl call and hawk wistle for locator calls. Simple and easy to use. There are several schools of thought on fall hunting. One is scatter the flock then call them back. The one I like is to just call the flock to you. Same techniques as the spring just more eyes on you in the fall. It sure is exciting isn't it! Happy hunting.
Does anyone know where i can get hold of the entire range of salmo lures in the united kingdom?
Find a flock and break it up. Just run into the flock. Sit down and make a assembly call. Wait for the turkeys to show up to rejoin the group.More Questions & Answers...
