Is leaving a crossbow cocked for 4 or5 hours at a time bad...?

What is the difference between a catfish and a bullhead.?

no, dont listen to these yankee, free loading hillbilly's. Modern day crossbow's are designed to withstand the tension of a day's hunt. True, it's not good on them to leave them cocked for several days, however, these limbs were made stronger so a hunter wouldnt have to cocke, uncock, cocke, uncock throughout a long hunting day. Now, if this is a used bow and you dont know how it was treated, then you should probably have the limbs checked out to make sure theres no stress. If there is then they could break at any time. Also, your string will hold as long as its not frail. If it starts to get freyed then have it replaced, theyre not that expensive. Ive had mine for 11 years, still hunt with it, and have never had any problems.

How do you make a bow and arrow?

yes, it will mess up the tension of the string.

When is the Alaskan Salmon Run?

yes

I have a Browning A-Bolt 7mm and want to replace the stock.?

hi there, no it will be ok as long as you have the string well waxed, and as long as you are not in the rain, once the string has reached it 's maximum stretch it won't go farther, happy hunting
