Anyone had any luck with the new Dancin' eel?
Only problem I have had is that after the 20th or so strike the tail starts to break. Wal-Mart or on-line is the only place I can find it.

Where is the best place to fish (fresh or saltwater) in or around Houston, TX?
Yes,Bought it brand new about 2 weeks ago at a place called Gander Mountain. It is kinda like Bass Pro Shops. They just got them in, $4.99 each. They come with a nozzle thing for you to use with Yum attractant.
Well, Gander was out of the Yum attractant, so I bought a bottle of "nitro gravy juice". The nozzle fit perfectly on it. Yes!
Well,
I got to my favorite pond, and first got it out of the package, which btw , you better have a knife, as Hulk couldnt get into this package LOL!
First thing you will notice, is how heavy the lure is. Which isnt so bad considering you can now cast this baby a long way.
But, when I first put it into the water, it sinks like a rock!
Yes, this lure sinks like a rock, I wish it floated, but it doesnt.
But you can look at it another way, it gets to the bottom quick,
so be prepared to start reeling quick.
Oh, also, I did use the gravy juice on the sides of the lure (which is there for you to do).
Also, when you reel it in, you will feel like you have a fish on, LOL, the weight and action of this lure is very apparant.
Very good action as on the show with Bill Dance.
After about 5-8 casts, My lure came back with algea from the bottom of the lake. I was fishing in about 6-8 ft. of water so no biggy..
Apparently this lure will not dive, (and that is good), the lip will just make it wiggle straight from that depth.
Anyway, after about 8 casts, (and getting used to this lure)
I got a BITE boom! Well, I am also fishing with 8 lb. test line, so I really felt this lure, The bass I caught weighed about 1 1/2 lbs.
Not Bad! I only cast it out about 5 more times and had to go,
But I will say, I will definetly give this lure some more tries!
I didn't think I would get a bite so quickly, but this lure does have some wild action.
I would say yes, buy ONE, and try it out, (I have alot other lures I wish I didn't buy, LOL)
Good Luck, Hope that helps!
Does any know of any clay pigeon shoots in essex?
Dick's sporting goods sells them too. I have not tried that lure. I tournament fish and I need more than that one dinky hook to provide me with better hook-ups. It's a confidence thing.More Questions & Answers...
