Turkey gun.?
I'm looking at getting a new shotgun for turkey hunting but don't want to spend alot of money i just want something to get the job done... so what kind of gun should i get and how much would it be i really only want to spend about 250 but can go more if i have to?

If you are keeping the budget low look at the offerings from mossberg or some of the imported shotguns.Where is a good crappie fishing lake or pond to fish at?
Mossberg 500 in 12GA is about the best over all shotgun money can buyRemington 870 express special purpose turkey (spt) Comes with an extra full choke. Great gun w/ a 21" barrel & two beads.$ 250 to$300. If you had to pick one. But go to a sporting goods store & check out all the guns you can . You WILL fall in love with one or an other .
Any 12-bore single-shot will do, and if you want you can get a used pump gun and still stay under budget easily. Just make sure you have a full choke.
Around $250 for a Mossberg Model 500. But if you seriously want to turkey hunt you will spend around $300 on a Mossberg Model 835 Ulti-Mag. It will shoot 3.5 inch magnum shells and its overbored, ported and has interchangeable chokes.
I also recommend you pick up an "extra full" choke for whatever gun you pick up.

i would get a simple mossberg pump action 12 guage, the 20 guage is a good gun also but the 12 guage has more power and range, a 10 guage isnt really worth it because it has only a little more range than a 12 guage and has a lot more recoil. this 12 guage should cost u around 230-250 with everything included in that price.This will also come with a full, modified, and cylindered choke.How long does electroshock fishing actually shock the fish?
