Campgrounds up along the coast of CA?

Hi, I'm trying to find a nice campground to tent camp on the way up to San Francisco from Los Angeles. Monterey? San Luis? Any ideas for some campgrounds? I NEED HOT SHOWERS, a bathroom facility, other then that I'm open for suggestions:) Thanks

Hot showers are going to be a tough one though. Most state campgrounds don't have them. Maybe private campgrounds would be more to your liking, here's a list of those along the central coast, but most cater to RV's in addition to tent campers: http://www.camp-california.com/default.a...
