Does anyone know where i can buy a paintball gun and how much are they?
You won't find much online similar. It's almost certainly a custom job. You'll need to chase down the maker's and proof markings and have the thing appraised by somebody that knows what he's doing, but I'd say you have a nice one, probably worth at least US$600, and perhaps a lot more, depending on specifics. The 257 Roberts is a great caliber, better than the 243 that's so popular these days, but it isn't a standard caliber you see very often any more. Your average guy out there isn't going to value it very highly, but those with more knowledge will, if anything, value it all the more.Is it a true Mauser, or from another manufacturer? As it sounds, you have a civilian sporter, possibly pre-WWII, even though it's chambered for 257 Roberts, which is kind of an antique cartridge itself.
Your best bet, hopefully you live in a Metro area, find a reputable firearms dealer, preferrably one who deals with antiques, as well.
The dealer should give you an appraisal of your rifle and, with the help of a copy of the Blue Book of Firearms Values, an estimate of your rifle's market value.
