Fishing reel chemical?

Does anyone know of a harmful chemical mentioned on the box of a Shimano,Stradic 2500fh fishing reel? It says ; This product contains a chemical known to the state of california to cause cancer,birth defects and other reproductive harm. It does not mention the actual chemical. I am very interested to find out what this is,so if anyone can help me it will be greatly appreciated

It's the petroleum in the bearing grease. Can't recall the name of it offhand.

Just don't use it for anything other than oiling the inner workings and you'll be alright.

if you look any product with a lube of any nature will have the notice on it most any petroleum product will have that label on its package

Theres a warning on the box of all fishing gear. Usually its about lead, but I imagine it s probably about the lube in the real.

Its the lube that is used in the reel. Its called PTFE, just exactly what that is I am unsure
