How to tell a male from female crappie?

Question:how can i tell if a crappie is a male or female when i get it?
i am tierd of guting the fish and seeing eggs.

You're more likly to catch more females anyways, I know I do when I fish crappies, sunnys and pearch I always end up with 90% of them being females. What can I say I guess the females like me.
