my dad bred springers and they are wonderful house dogs and great hunters. as long as they get to hunt as this is what comes naturally to them, you'll have a great companion.Check up on springers disease .My brother had to put his down because of it .

Well they're lovely dogs but I wouldn't have another unless I was using it for the gun or field & kept it outside. My last one ate most of my kitchen!More Questions & Answers...
