Would any one buy a desert eagle ??
The first thing I am wondering is why you would want to do consecutive double hauls? The double haul is a means of increasing line speed to increase casting distance. A second double haul would defeat the purpose of using the first one. What website can i go to find cool guns?
Not having gone down to the pond and tried, I cannot answer the question as stated. In thinking about it, I think it would be nearly impossible to do 2 consecutive double hauls. The double haul is primarily used for shooting line. It accelerates the line speed so that excess line can be utilized in the cast making it "shoot" through the guides causing the cast to be longer than normal. Since on a normal cast, you usually stop the forward motion of the rod about 11 o'clock which causes the rolling loop to form, and on the double haul, you move the rod much further forward, I think you would be so out of shape casting wise that to try to do double, double hauls would be a near impossibility. I am assuming you mean to do these casts consecutively not allowing the line to fall on the water between the two cast. If you allow a double haul to be completed and then do it again, yes that would be fairly simple to do. 2 double hauls in the air back to back?------I don't know if you would destroy the leader, but the second cast would probably result in a huge pile up of line on the water. I don't think it can be done. Lets see what the experts come up with on this one.More Questions & Answers...
