What is the meaning behind seeing a white deer?
I don't think it is because its pretty much pointless and nothing gets accomplished but I guess it could be because it takes practice and skill so idkWhat caliber is good for hunting birds.?
First, you must decide what the definition of a sport is. I think Rodeo is more of a sport than Nas-car. Both are more worthwhile than footbal or basket ball. I've never "Trophy hunted", but I consider hunting a very worthwhile endevor. I would say that yes it is a sport, but also much moreI personally do not trophy hunt. But hunting is a sport because to be good at it you do need to be physically fit and do your home work.If your not or don't know what your doing it's just like football,Basketball and baseball. You won't get very far or do very good at it.It takes a lot of energy to keep warm in temps below freezing. It also takes a lot of energy to walk all day to find the game that you are trying to hunt. The reason a lot of people do not think it is a sport is they have never tried it.To hunt and hunt effectively It takes skill,Know how and patients to succeed.Hope this has help you for your report.
Are there any cool skateparks in Dallas?
Emily, it may seem at first that trophy hunting is not sporting. I mean, the hunter is staking a poor, dumb animal merely to brag about his kill and show-off the hide or head as proof. However, some trophy hunters only hunt dangerous game and so long as the hunter is not shooting a bear in a cage or trap, then it is sporting. Ever see the '96 movie the Ghost & The Darkness starring Val Kilmer & Michael Douglas? The movie is based on a true story, THE MANEATERS OF TSAVO.Lt. Col. John H. Patterson killed the two man-eaters, maneless male lions who killed & ate approx. 140 human beings. He kept the hides as rugs for the longest time then sold them to the Field Museum in Chicago, IL. The two lions were larger than natural lions and some believe they may have been 'throw-backs' to the extinct prehistoric Cave Lion, the largest feline ever known. The lions were rumored to be one 'whiter' than the other and the other one darker thus named by the Natives as the Ghost & the Darkness. That is trophy hunting born of necessity--the killing had to stop and would only stop when the lions were killed.
I am a meat hunter but will shoot a trophy class critter as a 'target of opportunity.' I think most hunter are like this. We hunt for practical purposes, but hope to find that "world class trophy."
Good luck with your paper.

How do you clean a freshwater engine after fishing in saltwater?
no it's not. a bunch of grow men go off into the woods to kill Innocent little animal not for food but just to see how close they can get to a animal before they kill it . not a sportWhat kind of game fish do New Zealand lakes and streams hold.?
Trophy hunting is a sport. You get rated on the animal that you kill based the size of the antlers. Just like a professional football player, people trophy hunting can strive for the top position, by the size of the antlers on the deer, elk, caribou that they kill. Money, trophys, and just overall recognition is the prize that a hunter recieves for this.Don't mean to get philosophical but hunting it a sign of ultimate respect between species, to challenge one dominance, it would be disrespectful to the animal to not be remembered as a challenge.
I personally do not consider it a sport. I would never go and shoot something just for a trophy. I hunt to put meat in my freezer.
There's many kinds of hunters. Some hunt for just non-typical racks and shoot nothing else but those.
I don't consider trophy hunting even close to a sport. It inflates a mans ego, and therein the trophy lies.
