You don't mention the brand, but,
It's a springer if it costs less than 30 bucks.
The cheapest AEG's start at about 50$, and the better ones begin at about 100$.
Look for the words, Metal Gearbox...
That's the main thing you want to see in the description to ensure you are getting a gun that you'll be happy with.
(The laser/light module is junk on the cheapies. I have two broken ones in my desk right now. They both broke being REMOVED FROM THE BOX!)
