Wildfowling is the term used for shooting watergame, Birds with webed feet. The list of birds that may be shot will differ all over the world, I have no idea where you are so i can not realey advise you.
In the uk there is quite a wide range of wildfowl that were alowed to hunt in season.
One of our laws is that we have to shoot tham with non toxic shot ie not lead, Non toxic-- Tin, bismuth, tunksten all of which are much more expensive.
How did paintballing start and catch on as a sport?
This isn't a question. You should probably rephrase it.Do deer move in rain and wind or will they lay down under cover?
Use a shotgun if you are going to hunt waterfowl. Does that answer your question?Also-no lead shot can be used...you have to get non-toxic shot like steel or bismuth. I personally like Kent (it's a bit cheaper than Winchester or Federal). Hope that helps!
Does anybody have a airsoft gun they are giving away?
Yeah you know... ducks, geese, mergansers, coots, teal, rails, snipe, here in Ohio it is a big deal, lots of birds in the northern areas of Ohio near Lake Erie.Watching paintball is like watching paint dry - What nonsense!?
Yeah...been there, done that...so just what is your question.(77)
What's the best shotgun ammo (brass pellets?) for spring gobbler?
not right now, I'm on the computor.Does anyone know wut size skateboard i should get?
Heres some basics to waterfowlin.12-20g shotgun (preferably 12) w/ 2 3/4"-3 1/2" steel shells size 3 for ducks and BB-BBB for Geese. On big lakes, find a bay or shore that is protected from the wind. On Rivers, find bends and slack water areas where the ducks can relax. Ducks always land into the wind so try to set up with the wind at your back so they will be coming right at you. Early season, use fewer decoys and only a couple drake decoys because they havent developed there full plumage yet. Your decoys should be set up roughly in the shape of a "V" with the bottom of the "V" pointing into the wind, providing a landing zone. If your a beginner, dont worry about calls yet, but buy a couple to start practicing with. If you are not a competant caller, you are better off not calling at all. Do not spend more than $30 dollars. My $10 call has brought in more birds for me than any of my $50 -$100 calls. Primos is a great brand for starters and experts alike. Buy books, DVDs, and tapes. All of these will help you to learn how to call. Also get out and just listen to the ducks on the water and just copy them. When shooting at the ducks, be sure to lead them and SWING LIKE HELL!
