Where can I site in my 50cal.muzzleloader,30-30m... at in the akron ohio location?

There is a state run range at:Grand River Wildlife Area 6686 S.R. 534 Farmington (330) 889-3280. The range is on a side road off of Rt. 88.
You have to pay for a permit, $5.00 for 1 day or $24.00 for an annual permit. You must buy the permit, anywhere you can purchase a hunting or fishing license, BEFORE you go to the range. They do not sell the permits there. Also, I believe they are closed Mon. and Tues. Call for hours before going.
If I remember correctly, they have a 50 foot, 50 yard, and 100 yard range.
I wouldn't think you'd want to sight in your 50 cal. or 30-30 at anything over 100 yards. You could sight in at that distance and check the trajectory of the shell to know where it would hit at a farther distance.
I think it would be about an hour drive for you from the intersection of Rt. 76 and 534, then head North on 534. You could check on Yahoo Maps or Mapquest to see if another way would be quicker.

i know their's is an outdoor range, but i don't know the distance. i go to a place off Rt 8 on front street, but it's indoors, and not more than 50 yards.
