How hard is it to assemble an AR15 from scratch?
Set up your backpack back on a picnic table or surface that is above your knees. Loosen arm straps. Insert child. Put one arm through strap and then lift pack off table and put through other arm in one motion. This will eliminate a lift and twist from ground level that could tweak your back. Snug up straps. Reach back and "close" kickstand. Do the reverse for removal. Always have a hand on the backpack when putting on or taking off to eliminate tipping. Most backs have a handle of some sort on the top of the pack. The first time you try this have someone close by. After a while you will be a pro. Have a good hike!More Questions & Answers...
