When is the cheapest time to go camping?
i want to go camping in a cottage for my birthday and it is really expensive when can i go so it will be cheaper?

That is not considered camping really, although are places which are called camping cottages.It depends on the location since that defines the season. Death Valley is cheaper in the Summer. Many other places are cheaper in the winter.
Decide where you want to go and call and see when their rates change. They will tell you. Sometime there are specials, like in Yosemite. You can sign up for an email list to be informed of the specials.

Cottaging is not Ca----blah blah blah...Best times to find a deal are least demanding time. This would mean winter for a cottage. Of course, if you want it to be functional, (i.e; fishing, boating, hiking, fires, etc.) best time is first week after students return to schoolusually second week in Sept. Weather colder, people back at home because kids in school, kids in school, etc... It's always been my favorite time to go camping (Real Camping of course), because weather is warm enough to swim, cool enough not to sweat and stink the whole time, fishing is usually good, and you can enjoy the warmth of a fire at night.
Less customers means more vacancies, which means more competition, which means lower prices.
