i think GB's victory was a massiv FU to the whining convicts who have been slaggin the lions off all week calling us " amateurish" and the likes. well our bunch of amateurs didnt act like playground bullies and street thugs did we mr gould??i still cant beleive mason was not sent off during the game, but we all know from super league that mr klein is a coward and is afraid to send players off, he is also australian! im fairly sure that had it been peacock,morley or fielden he wouldnt have hesitated to show them the red card!
You're right Kevin G, Willie Mason should be barred (and will be) what he did to Fielden and Long is unacceptable, still, it's good to see that Great Britain beat the Aussies, we managed to embarrass the Worlds best Rugby League sqaud (internationally) i just can't wait for Brisbane to play my side of St Helens, we'll wipe the floor with the Aussies! Maybe now the Aussie press won't be so quick to write us off now!

You English fans are always so over confident - in everything!Mason took Fielden to school, simple as that. To say that he doesn't have talent as a Rugby League player is ridiculous. For both GB and the Kiwi to formulate their attacking plan based on targetting Mason - its is obvious to see that he is seen as a threat, and quite rightly worthy of being ackowledged as an outstanding enforcer in the game.
The people who write him off are the very people intimidated by him.
I think the Lions outplayed the Roos in what was a great game of football. The aussies could have come away with the win if it weren't for a few mistakes, but the Lions were smart enough to take that advantage and keep them on the backfoot.
To answer your question - yes the aussie still do think we are the best in Rugby League. Anybody who is actually educated about the game will agree.
To those fans who believe the Club Challenge is an indication of who is the best in the world, you are dreaming. The aussies don't really take this seriously, and if we did - there would not be one win to any Super league side. But hey, I don't want to ruin your fun. Lap it up!

No team is unbeatable and GB proved that!
Willie Mason is an out and out thug, he has talent...as a bulldozing forward. But that still doesnt take away from the fact that he is a thug and should be banned from the game. Fielden went down like a sack of spuds when Mason hit him and showed nothing of the Fielden of Old that would have got up and layed him flat. Shows to me that Fielden has gone soft after his Wigan move.
GB can't get complacent. We have a hard match against the Kiwis in Wellington this Saturday and then we have to face a smating Aussie outfit who will want to get one over on us.
