Dear fellow sweet charioteers. Heres a repeat question but i think its one we should be asking. Wilkinson when fit, should he be our no 10, or should we let hodgson carry on? I personally dont rate hodgson at all. I think we are putting faith into him cause wilkinson is still in recovery mode. What do you lot think?

Hodgson is not fit to wear the shirt, he is crap with the boot and so inconsistant it hurts, at international level, you need to know what your going to get.Dear fellow sweet charioteer, England are poor with him or without him he is only good for pressure kicking!

Hodgson plays a differnet style to that of Wilkinson. Unfortunately, when wearing the white shirt of England his kicking is not as good as Jonny at his best!However, do not forget that Charlie's kicking was one of the reasons that Sale won the Premiership this year - kicking and controlling plays from 10.
I do think Jonny may be past his best - injuries like the ones he's had can only have an effect on his game

If johnny is fully fit then he should be given another chance.hodgkinson's running game is better but he misses too many penaltys and has cost us a couple of games (france 95 springs to mind). The problem is the future, who takes over when these two players are past their best internationally . there are plus and minus for both players. How dumb is that first answer? Does he think rugby is soccer! I like Wilkinson. He is a good player but he does seem to be in the habit of being injured more often than a soccer player! He should be our number 10 when fit but I just don't think he can stay fit for a full season.Why wont my parents let me go on endrence?
at the risk of starting off another torrent of abuse I'll provide a welsh slant to this question. Without doubt Wilkinson should play, defensively he's the better player and tactically hes more astute, while he may have lost a yard of pace due to numerous injuries he can still see the gap and attempt to go for it. the real question is who do you play outside him, sometimes even Wilkinson can have a bad day as against Wales in the last world cup, but once Catt was outside him he had an option if things turned bad and then he was then able to fully concentrate on his game knowing that he had someone dependable outside him. The problem with sport supporters is they forget too quickly, we have the same problem in my country [South Africa]. Johnny was the star of youre world cup victory in 2003, the man has alot of talent and can single handedly turn a rugby game on it's head with his brilliance [he proved this in 2003]. He dectated England to glory and there are not alot of players with such capabilities.
