France won it on Points difference & it was by 2 points that they won the championship after scoring a try in the dying seconds of the game as well as converting it.France after being gifted a try in the dying seconds and helped along by Ireland letting Italy score a try in the dying second of their game. Thus leading to Les Bleus winning on points difference. Harsh way to lose for Ireland and hopefully they have learnt their lesson but you have to keep going for the full 80 and not relax one bit.
Shame really I thought they deserved it this year and were the best team in the competition. But two late trys due to possible lack of concentration in dying seconds - one to France and one to Italy.
