What are the rules of Rugby and how do you play?
I'm From the USA and haven't seen Rugby before and i'm wondering what the rules are and how it's played

The game of rugby is played with fifteen men on a side. The field is roughly the same size as a football or soccer field, and each side runs the ball at the other, attempting to score a “try” in the opposite “try zone” (like an end zone). When downward pressure is applied to the ball on the ground inside the opposing team’s try zone, a try is awarded and the scoring team gets five points. A kick is then made for an extra 2 points, for a total of 7 points for a “converted” try. A naughty trick is to put your hands between the ball and the ground when an opponent tries to score in your try zone. Opponents dislike this strategy in general.Your ultimate goal is always to get inside the opposing try zone and put the ball on the ground. If you get hit in the head and forget everything else about rugby, just remember to get the ball, run straight at the opposing try zone, and touch the ball to the ground. It is just that easy.

All I know is, they're not called rules, they're called laws.
OK that's not all I know. You can't play the ball if you're lying on the ground, you can't pass forward, and the referee won't stop play for a violation if it turns out to be to the offended team's advantage.
