Welsh rugby game against Ital the ref made the wrong decision at the end of the last ten secs do u agree?
Answers:
I know the answer...but do you Rugby fans?
Chris White bottled it when the TMO said he had time! If Chris White had said that Wales did not have time to take the line-out then fair enough, but he didn't, he said: "10 seconds left if you take it now!"I am an Englishman who found it extremely funny given the rude, aggressive and unnecessary reception we always receive in Cardiff, but still think it was wrong.
Name the rugby captain that's got the following victories on his CV. All in season.?
Where has my answer gone - I just answered this!!I said that I didn't see the match but if it was the wrong decision against the Welsh then yes I agree!!
Who is the best rugby team on the planet?
Yes, saying one thing and doing another....the touch line judges were just as bad, I mean that punch on Steven Jones was clearly seen, the ball was there, there was contact, are they blind or what? Lots of early tackles made on Shane Williams to prevent him having the ball, again in the ball and contact areas, gone "UNNOTICED"!Shambles!
Dont know who was worse, the Welsh team or the officials!
Who thinks the all blacks were poisoned before the 1995 world cup final in south africa?
The ref appologised (a event that has never happenned in the annals of human history). So I think maybe wales had a point - that the ref screw*d up...and cost them the game.
Firstly Italy are always getting screwed over by refs so in some way maybe this was natural justice.
Secondly wheter the ref made the wrong decision or not depends on what he said what i heard was "you have ten seconds left" what the Welsh claim is that he told them they had time to take the lineout, if that is true it was unfair on the welsh, but still an innocent mistake by the ref.
Look at it this way what if after realizing he had erred in telling the welsh to take the lineout the ref decide to allow play to continue anyway, then maybe the welsh would have scored even though time was in fact actually up and the Italians should have won the game, this would have been unbelievably unfair in the Italians. Therefore I think the ref made the best of a bad situation.
P.S I am irish and am looking at this from an objective viewpoint
come on England today! IF ye win we can win the Six Nations!
What do you ladies do while the men are watching Rugby?
Not sure, it was a bit confusing. You would need to know exactly what was said, by the ref just before they kicked for the corner. I dont think it made any difference to the result though. They should have taken the points for a draw with just 10 seconds remaining surely.Yes the referee was a total W*nk for blowing up after telling the the players that there was 10 seconds left to go.
Favorite rugby team? have one?
Yes the Ref got it wrong he realised it and apologised to the Welsh coaching staff after the game, and they accepted his apology. As for the punching incident, if the linesman didn't spot the punch, ( don't forget that match officials do not have the luxury of replays.) it will be looked at by the IRB citing panel. Bergermasco will be banned for the last game. Why is Southern Hemisphere Rugby so much stronger then the Northern Hemisphere version ?
He has since apologised - too **** late nowA scrummage or scrum restarts play in which sports?
yes he made the wrong decision and we lost the game, but italy played well and deserved a win, like shane williams said thats the way rugby goes, just have to take it on the chin and just try and get a win against the english next week(good luck wales)What happened to andy farrel? he crossed codes to rugby union, but not heard anything of him since?
Wales, cheated by another English ref. They should refuse to play any game with an English ref.Where can I get LIVE coverage of the ALL BLACKS upcoming UK series while in the US (CA)?
If he says there is time for a line-out then says there isn't when a team has not gone for the 3 pts that is downright negligence!Had he told the truth..'no there is no time',then Wales would have gone for the posts and a (probable) draw.Very unfair.I wonder what would have been said had it happened to England...a grand investigation and appeal no doubt.
Do men, sometime get off on the sight of a rugby game,?
Hi, Yes the ref really SCREWED up on that one, he shouldn't be allowed to ref the games, there have been a few times he has refereed matches & made the wrong decision, i think Wales could have won that match, & as for the Punch on Stephen Jones well that was abysmal,Is it hard to start a rugby team at your college?
yesWhen is a try not a try in rugby union?
It's not the refs fault. The TMO (Video Ref) told him there were 10 seconds which he then relayed to the welsh team, then the TMO told him that time was up and that is the fault of the TMO not the ref. The Welsh should have gone for three points and the safe draw anyways. In Rugby Union where does the name for the playing position of fly-half originate from?
I guess 'what goes round, comes around'..remember the appalling refereeing during the Italy v. England match? Nigel Owens? Welsh by any chance?.there is karma after all :))))
Does any one know how to make the RUGBY lineout grips, the ones that go above your knee.?
Strictly speaking the referee was in line with the laws of the game (Law5).However, law 6.5 states
" During a match, the referee is the sole judge of fact and of law. All his decisions are binding on the players. He cannot alter a decision except when given before he observes that a touch judge's flag is raised or before he has received a report related to Law 26(3) from a touch judge."
So yes he could be wrong, as he had told James Hook there would be time for the line out.
Could some1 explain the basics of rugby to me in less that 100 words?
