How to stop getting cramp in calf when running on tread mill (other than stop going on the machine!!)? Thanx?
Have lately been getting real bad cramp when running and then cant run or use exercise equipment for quite a while. Any reasons why this shold start happening?

this might sound strange but try eating a banana half an hour before you use the treadmill as cramp can be caused by a lack of potassium which you lose through sweating and also when you pee . if your very troubled by cramp then you should check with your gp maybe you are pushing yourself to hardEat more bananas. Potassium helps prevent cramps.
Ok people this question is about friends about what you would do or loose for them?
I'm guessing here but it may be because you are not warming up before and warming down after. A few stretches and a little bit of walking before and after may help. Or maybe you are running too fast and your body is not ready for that speed yet.I don't know if any of this will help, but it should give you a few things to try. Good luck.
