What is the meaning of this quote??
Question:" The difference between a jogger and a runner is an entry blank. " ~George Sheehan
doesnt make sense to me?
Answers:
New to running... could use some advice -- treadmill to outdoor running?
"Entry blank" means entering a race. A "jogger" sort if implies doing it less seriously, or as a chore for one's health, whereas for a "runner" it is more likely to be pleasure, and a runner is more concerned with improvements in speed and time. The quote could mean that just by entering a race, it helps you to get more out of it and is likely make you want to improve.I have a camelbak and wish to clean it out. I also want to clean out the water tubeand mouthpiece?
do u mean bank or blank?p.s. either way, i don't get it...
10 yard dash- 1.7 is that good?
I believe it is the fact that joggers due it for exercise, fun personal reasons. They don't generally get classified as a runner unless they enter a race - hence filling in an entry blank.
Now what that quote is really referring to would depend on teh context
