Answers:

Should i join track?

In order to be a pacemaker you have to have a pacemaker. You then turn it up for sprints and turn it down for long distance.
God knows what would happen if you were sprinting and came across a scantily clad young lady, have a heart attack I should think.
Keep smilin'.

Should i run?

I assume you are talking about the "rabbit", which is the person who pushes the other runners in a race to run faster and then drops out after they are tired. They usually just use their watch to make sure they are running the pace they have been asked to.

In larger races rabbits are usually hired to push the pace and make the race faster therefore making it seem like a good race course for other runners to come and race on.
