Is Ultrmarathon guy Dean Karnazes just a genetic freak, or can anyone run 200 miles?

People who are predisposed with an abundance of slow twitch muscle fiber are much more suited to ultrmarathoning. He also probably has a favorable lung capacity, and robust joints.
The mental aspect is as important as the physical. That's where must of us will fail.
The other thing in Dean's favor is that he can make a living at this. Being able to dedicate your life to endurance is a luxury few of us have. Your chances are better if you live and breathe it every day.
