Places to run at night in San Mateo, CA?

stay for ten are fifteen minutes to get your work out

How long should a long run be?

Depending on the type of treadmill, try doing some hill or interval workouts. You can use the programs (if available) or just do it manually. These workouts will help strengthen your legs and give you some more speed...just do it once a week. It's a good break from the everday run. The link below has a table that converts mph to pace. I hope that helps. Good luck!

I plan to run my 1st 5k; what is a good finishing time ? a decent average finish line time ?

What I would do is ask a sports trainer. There is one at this site who works with runners and in diet and fitness. They answer questions like yours.Check them out and maybe ask them since they are professionals who work in sports training.Good luck.

Will running make my abs feel and look a bit stronger?

treadmill workouts...

well, i don't really like them... treadmills make your ankles hurt and tire you out way faster than outside...

get some fresh air and run outside instead... ull see more and it will last longer too
