take protein powder, preferrably Whey. (you need protein to build muscle)
Taurine (what gives energy drinks their kick) an amino acid, helps rebuild muscle
B-Vitamins, improve metabolism
Iron- improves blood's ability to absorb oxygen

DO NOT drink colas, or anything w/ phosphoric acid. that will replace the calcuim in your digestive tract, meaning bones get weaker.

What is a reasonable time for me to jog 1.5km?

don't take supplements. they will mess up your natural production of certain chemicals. your body doesn't need supplements as long as you have a balanced healthy diet.

Should I be in track?

dont take supplements. i do drink propell vitamen water which helps stay hydrated and healthy
