How to choose a good pair of trainers?
Answers:
Can I still be good at running track this late in age?
The most important thing to do is try them on when you're shopping. No one can recommend the "right" or "best" brand of shoe for you--it's individual to each person. Try them on and take a lap around the store. They shouldn't mind (especially if it's a shoe store) and you'll get a feel for how they fit.It also depends on what you mean by "good." Do you mean supportive, stylish, comfortable, etc? For me personally, I really like New Balance shoes because they have a lot of support. Surprisingly, one of the best places to shop is Kohl's--they have good sales and great shoes. Good luck!

There is a gym near me that stocks all kinds of running shoes and also provides a running test on a treadmill so you can try them out for shock absorbancy, comfort etc. i'll find the name of the gym so you can see if there is one in your area!
What running books do you recommend?
make sure they have soles, uppers and maybe laces....Which of these shoes should I pick?
depends what you want them for, if its running or aerobic classes then you need ankle support as well as shock absorption and arch support. How can I run faster and cut off time in my mile?
i went to a proper running shop and they put me on a tread mill and looked at how i was running and fited the shoes to match it took about an hour but well worth itGo to a proper running shop with people who actually run who can tell you about your style of running and type shoe (pronator etc), also re your preferences (off road, tarmac etc). then speak to other runners, see wot they wear, what lasts what comfortable then BUY. Bext investment is good pair shoes for a runner! Enjoy
