Has anyone tried doing two shorter runs in place of a long run, Does it work as well?
Honestly, i think running is the best thing for your abs. People are constantly doing crunches or sit ups, but to be a strong runner you need to have abs. In running the most important thing is your core which is your abs. Plus, crunches and situps will help out your abs, but running helps out every part of your body. You might want to start running more than a mile, like maybe every week just add on a half- mile or mile. Good Luck!Is it possible to train for the half-marathon in 11 weeks?
yes and no. running helps your heart rate increase which helps your body process excess anything, including fat. by removing the fat, you get a slimmer waste and more muscle definition -everywhere.keep running but try to add crunches in there somewhere.
You will probably need to run a little more than a mile every nine days if I understand you correctly, It will help you to burn fat from your mid section and you will feel stronger if you're consistent.
Running in the rain, any tips?
It gets the shape but not the actual mussel so it wont get you a six pack or nothing with out sit ups, six inches, or crunchesMore Questions & Answers...
