Sprint time?

Is 5.94 seconds good for a 50 yard sprint? At lacrosse tryouts, our coach timed it, and I got 5.94. Is this a good time?

Who likes running?

Yes, that is a good time.
However, in general, times clocked by (non-track) coaches are usually suspect. Based on experience, if you can run 5.9 for 50yds, you should be able to run around 11.10 for 100m.

If you were given some sort of countdown so that you could anticipate the start, you should add about .1 to that time.

yea that is good just think double that and it is around 11sec for 100meters wich is ok.. but it is not GREAT just get out hard and strong and try getting more around 5 sec flat wich would be around 10 sec 100meters wich is good
