What Should I do??
Question:okay tuesday we had a track meet. wednesday track was cancelled so no running. then we had school off thurs and friday. no running at all thurs either. friday i ran on my treadmill for 40 minutes ( does that help much because it doesn't seem like i am running on ground) and it's saturday. i have a track meet monday.and idk what i can do to keep myself prepared since i haven't ran. by the way i ate junk food. in which i am cutting down on right now.
what should i do? thanks!

get in a good hard workout on sat. and then a semi- hard pre-meet on sun. and no junk food, a lot of water, and nothing but heatlhy food.I have endurance for the 400m, but my speed is missing. Can you help me?

Well if you have been running track for a while this season you should be in good shape still. Run a little on sunday real light and then you will be fine for tomorrow. Also no junk food.Why don't the air zoom elite 3s have nike+ capabilities?
No biggie that you missed one or two days, it's good rest.Go out and do a normal running workout. I don't know if you're long distance or a sprinter, but just do one of the workouts that the coach made you do on a normal track practice. You'll have plenty of time to rest on sunday and by monday you should be fine.
The treadmill probably helped, but 40 mins. is unrealistic for track. Try doing training more relavent to your event.

Ouch. try not to let this happen to often. Remember that the road is always open to runners and a workout can be done almost anywhere for us. It's great that you've already started the process of fixing the days you lost. Just try to switch back into a normal routine and I am sure that you will do fine. =)More Questions & Answers...
