Is 42 mns good for a 10km run?
Answers:
Hardcore runners what is the #1 problem that you can't seem to solve?
How good a performance this is depends on your age, gender, running experience and goals. For an 8 year old girl or a 72 year old man this is a world class performance.
For healthy fit 20 year old man who is not a competitive runner this is a good performance.
For healthy fit 20 year old man who is a competitive runner this is a poor performance.
If you want to know more specifically how good this is, search the internet for age graded running tables. These allow you to compute an age and gender normalized score. The score is a number from 0 to 100. It is the ratio of the world record for someone of your age and gender and your performance. A score of 100 means you are roughly capable of running a world record for your age and gender. A score of 50 means you run twice as slow as the world record holder.
Someone who is active and runs regularly may scores 60+. A competitive runner may scores 75+. A local/regional champion may scores 80+. Anyone scoring over 85 is semi elite. 90+ is a national class athlete.
What was the fastest mile ever run inside old boston garden?
I would say it is not a bad time but not a first place time. i would say it is a slightly above average time.whats that about 7 miles?

yeah but the question is was this your first one
What time would be a fast mile?
Yes, thats really good! Good job :)What's a good way to condition for track?
yes, that is faster than the average (non-elite) runner's time for a 10k. I'd be very happy if I ran a 42min 10k.I run road and track 4-5 times a week and when i squat and then sand up my knee hurts?
That is a good time. Not great, but you are already ahead of most people. just keep training and you will get better. I run a 34 min 10k, but it took me many years to get there. I was stuck at 40's for a while before I broke into the 30's. Good luck and great job!More Questions & Answers...
